The engine line-up starts with a diminutive but hardy 1.0L 3-cylinder gasoline turbocharged engine, and also includes options like the US and Middle-East versions’ 2.4L 4-cylinder, a 4X4 plug-in gasoline-electric hybrid, and several diesel options (low-sulfur “clean” diesel only).
With the Renegade Trailhawk, Trail-rated capability is guaranteed thanks to Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, increased ground clearance and front and rear two hooks, among other special features.
